Character Grant Program Update To celebrate all the different stages of character at camp, we are thrilled to announce that there will still be three grant pathways that a camp can apply for: Planning Grants, Implementation Grants, or Network Planning Grants! The timeline for ACA’s Character at Camp is being adjusted to better align with the needs of our camp leaders as they head into summer. New dates will be announced soon, but we do know applications will open in summer 2025, the application deadline will be fall 2025, and award announcements will come out winter 2025/2026. We will send out a detailed update soon. For additional questions, reach out to character@ACAcamps.org, and we’ll respond as soon as we are able! https://bit.ly/3YnbOAg

At the American Camp Association, we are inclusive. ACA demonstrates and develops intentionally welcoming, kind, and safe environments within the camp community. We learn from our various experiences, we are curious about our differences, and we engage in sometimes challenging discussions. The root of our focus is to ensure every child and adult has equitable access and opportunities to attend a camp that fully embraces who they are as individuals.
