Medical students from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Sharon Rivas, Courtney Chau, and Capriana J., helped deliver skin health education to children of the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem using AAD’s Good Skin Knowledge lesson plans. Students learned about taking care of their skin, acne, sun-safety, bug bites, and plants during the four-week program. This initiative was made possible thanks to the support of AAD’s Art of Skin event held this past September.

On April 3, the AADA urged the FDA to continue strong collaboration with the physician community, ensuring that those who will ultimately use AI-enabled medical devices have a meaningful role in their development, design, testing, and implementation.
