Our mission is to provide personal financial services of a superior quality to the members/owners; our chief concern being their financial well-being.
We desire to be the primary financial institution of our members. We will use automation and technology to support a highly trained group of volunteers and staff.
Professional managers will be accountable for the quality of service and will be given sufficient flexibility in implementing policy to ensure that the member perceives the highest degree of excellence in every contact.
Professional marketing will provide aggressive programs to sustain and increase growth. We will seek our growth both from new members and by serving the financial needs of present members in a more complete manner. We will not sacrifice quality of present services to seek growth.
In order to provide quality member services, the credit union must remain financially sound and secure. Adequate operating controls, capital reserves and liquidity will be maintained at all times.
We will be sales oriented in our approach to members, and traditional credit union philosophy will remain our guiding principle. Among financial institutions, this credit union is a unique organization with deep and abiding human values. Our goal is to maintain those qualities.

Meet Penny! ☀️ She is the Kaysville Market Manager and has worked with the credit union for almost 43 years! Penny started in the Records department and soon moved into the branches. She has spent time as manager at over 7 different branches, settling at the Kaysville branch for the past 10 years. Penny is very passionate about being able to help members and frequently volunteers in the community with her team. She is also a member of the Women in Business Executive Committee, where she plans meetings to support other women in business. Outside of work Penny enjoys crafting and sewing, along with spending time traveling with her four grandkids.

Meet Heather! 🌟 She is the manager of the Retail Development team at AFCU, helping remodel and build branches, while overseeing new technology to help with the member experience. Her journey at the credit union started in Collections 18 years ago, and she has spent time in Risk Management, Merchant Services, Business Development, and was manager for three different branches. Her favorite part of her role is being able to interact with branch staff and speaking with our members. Outside of work, Heather loves spending time outside and cheering on her three kids who love playing sports and being active. 🏀🏈👯♀️ Heather credits much of her success at AFCU to other women who have pushed and guided her throughout her career and has met some of her best friends through the credit union.

Meet Dawn! 💫 Dawn is a manager at the credit union, assisting members and credit union staff in resolving concerns and responding to feedback. She has been with the credit union for 17 years. Her favorite part about her job is being able to transform challenging situations into opportunities and drive meaningful improvements throughout the credit union. 📈 Outside of work, Dawn loves spending time with her five children and fur baby Coco, watching Raiders games, and Harley rides with her husband. 🏈🏍️ She is also a proud Airforce Mom. Dawn is extremely passionate about her role at AFCU. What started out as what she thought was a part time job 17 years ago, has evolved into a career and she has grown into an incredibly valuable part of the credit union. 💙
