🎉 Amel Energy has been awarded a grant by the Upstate New York Energy Storage Engine, led by Sir Stan Whittingham and Binghamton University! With this funding, Amel Energy will begin collaborative work to develop our 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽-𝗶𝗻, 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗰, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 solvent and binder platform for the 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘂𝗺-𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. We believe that the 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻™ platform will: 🏭 disrupt cathode manufacturing, 👍 removing PFAS chemicals and ♻️ 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 of these crucial materials. We are incredibly grateful to C4V and Prof. Todd Emrick at University of Massachusetts Amherst for partnering with us, and to the Upstate NY Energy Storage Engine for seeing our vision and enabling this work. https://lnkd.in/g8zJNhKd
