Yes, ExxonMobil. Yes, chips. No, not the kind you eat. 🤣 They’re investing big to start producing high-purity isopropyl alcohol - a key ingredient in cleaning semiconductors - by 2027. Why? Because semiconductor demand in the U.S. is GROWING. 📍 A few highlights: – $100M+ investment in Baton Rouge, LA – 45 new construction jobs (plus hundreds of existing jobs retained) – Tax perks from the state, including a 4% refundable credit – And a whole lot of economic momentum for the Southeast It’s all coming together, and it’s coming South. Building a data center one taco at a time. 🌮 Our team is out working on a data center in Montgomery, Alabama! So, naturally, we did what any responsible team would do… We threw a safety meeting with tacos. The kind that caused actual TACO ENVY and BONUS: Crafted by our in-house top chef, Pedro! 👨🍳 Were we discussing the transition to overhead work on the project? Absolutely. That’s a $160M investment to keep America stocked with artisanal pastries! Oh, and they’re bringing 450 jobs with them - making them one of the top five employers in the area.
