Celebrating a milestone!
As I was enjoying our annual summer vacation last week, I wes reflecting on what unexpected surprises/delights can happen in a short period of time:
Two years ago while on vacation at this same spot on the Oregon Coast (a family favorite for 30 years), Mike Kennie and I took our first call with Aimbridge. At the time, our company (which would become Amaze insights) was doing quite well, but we were a small, two-person startup. We were having fun but our growth trajectory, while upward, was slow.
We were in conversation with potential investors, and they set up a meeting to present our solution to the team at Aimbridge Hospitality. The call was designed as a “proof of concept” - the goal to discuss whether or not the solution we built had legs. We had no intention of pitching to Aimbridge, just wanted their feedback on our platform.
BUT, what was completely unexpected is that Aimbridge not only liked Amaze Insights, they signed up and became a became our largest customer! In the process, we found our awesome investment teams and board.
It’s been a whirlwind adventure, we have found incredible partnerships and continued to grow, creating more value and increasing productivity of teams everywhere.
I can’t wait to see where the next couple of years lead us!
