    I think sometimes we forget the human aspect to this business. We forget we’re all working for something bigger. We’re working for our families and for a paycheck, but aren’t we also working for some sense of being a part of something that means…something?! I’ve always loved the hospitality industry because of the people. Some of the best people I’ve met in my life, came from just going to work. Now, being a contractor and consultant I’m a one (two) woman show, 99% of the time. How refreshing it’s been to spend time with a team for a few days this week. To remember what it’s like to share, bond, vent, and maybe even gossip a little. Schulte has not forgotten the “human” in this business. If anything, they’ve kept it alive. They’ve remembered that we’re all people doing a job but…cheering each other on, and being actual friends, MATTERS. In the biggest way. I am unbelievably grateful to be welcomed with such open arms. To call this a job. To be able to share what I love and what I’m passionate about and have it matter. To meet people for two days and have them become, what I believe to be, lifelong friends. This business is, and always has been, so much bigger than us. What a gift to be able to be reminded of that. #schultehospitality #amazeinsights

    Celebrating a milestone! As I was enjoying our annual summer vacation last week, I wes reflecting on what unexpected surprises/delights can happen in a short period of time: Two years ago while on vacation at this same spot on the Oregon Coast (a family favorite for 30 years), Mike Kennie and I took our first call with Aimbridge. At the time, our company (which would become Amaze insights) was doing quite well, but we were a small, two-person startup. We were having fun but our growth trajectory, while upward, was slow. We were in conversation with potential investors, and they set up a meeting to present our solution to the team at Aimbridge Hospitality. The call was designed as a “proof of concept” - the goal to discuss whether or not the solution we built had legs. We had no intention of pitching to Aimbridge, just wanted their feedback on our platform. BUT, what was completely unexpected is that Aimbridge not only liked Amaze Insights, they signed up and became a became our largest customer! In the process, we found our awesome investment teams and board. It’s been a whirlwind adventure, we have found incredible partnerships and continued to grow, creating more value and increasing productivity of teams everywhere.     Are you ready for Amaze Insights to Amaze in another way? We are! We have also started partnering with one of our truly amazing customers and are actively engaged on building out additional functionality that is going to solve another major pain point for our customers (and soon to be additional customers!) We have heard loud and clear from our customers as well as additional industry leaders that the process for tracking and handling sales incentive programs is a major pain point. Our goal is to find these pain points and where our customers have challenges, and then work to make the process considerably smoother. We have already done this in a big way with sales and catering data analytics. We will now be taking this a step further and are already well down the road with massive improvement on the sales incentive process. Stay tuned for more updates and just know that this is going to be a big one that makes a huge difference for our customers. Could not be more excited!
