This custom-engineered manipulator lift is designed for regular transport across various locations and features manually operated end-effector modules that provide six degrees of freedom (6DoF). The assembly components are secured using detachable forks tailored specifically for the client's application. Alum-a-Lift crafted the entire system to be fully manual, ensuring optimal performance in environments with significant temperature variations, where electronic components might be compromised by extreme heat or cold. This Alum-a-Lift has been skillfully designed to simplify the assembly of chassis enclosures that protect and house a computer's internal parts, such as the motherboard, power supply, and storage drives. Assembling a chassis can be quite intricate, and doing it correctly is essential for the system to function safely and efficiently. The featured powered tilting platform can rotate 90°, making it ideal for vertical removals and component installations. It comes with a manual clamp support featuring two settings: one for the tray height (applicable for both single and double server modules) and another for the chassis height, ensuring that components remain secure during movement. Transporting materials into elevated hoppers can pose safety and ergonomic challenges. This tote-handling lift effectively addresses these issues by incorporating ergonomic features throughout its design, ensuring it is both safe and user-friendly for all operators. Furthermore, the engineering team at Alum-a-Lift collaborated closely with the customer to create a turnkey system that requires no modifications to existing containers, current processes, and equipment. A special fork set was designed to securely grip the lip of the totes, facilitating safe handling of the tote and its contents. The forks also include an integrated funnel to guide the contents during the dumping process. To minimize downtime due to charging, the lift is equipped with quick-exchange batteries and an offline charger.
