Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the six million Jewish lives lost and the countless others who suffered at the hands of the Nazis. We remember their stories, their resilience, and their legacy. As antisemitism continues to rise around the world, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that the horrors of the Holocaust are never forgotten. We must educate, speak out, and stand together against hatred in all its forms. May the memory of the victims be a blessing. 🕯️

This week’s Friday PiDay highlights the lifelong bond of three AEPi brothers whose friendship has spanned more than 40 years—through college, careers, and their shared battle with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. What started in the AEPi house at the University of Georgia has grown into a powerful partnership in the fight against IBD. Now, these brothers are giving back through the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, working to raise awareness, fund research, and support those affected by these diseases. Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader who dedicated his life to the fight for justice, equality, and freedom. His unwavering belief in the power of community and his commitment to standing up for what is right continue to inspire us. Dr. King was also a proud supporter of Israel and the Jewish people, recognizing the deep connection between the struggle for civil rights and the fight against antisemitism. He reminded us that “Israel must exist and has the right to exist,” and that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. May we continue to learn from his example and work toward a world rooted in unity, respect, and understanding.

This week’s Friday PiDay shares a deeply personal story of loss, resilience, and the strength of brotherhood. When the Tau Mu chapter lost a brother too soon, they leaned on one another for support, honoring his memory in their own way—by taking a trip to Philadelphia to get cheesesteaks, just as he had done so many times before. In grief and in healing, they reminded us of the importance of being there for each other—not just in times of celebration, but in times of sorrow. The Michael A. Leven Advanced Leadership Institute concluded on Saturday, and what a success it was! This year was truly the best yet, filled with impactful sessions, meaningful connections, and incredible growth. A heartfelt thank you to our mentors, speakers, staff, and undergraduate brothers who made this year’s Leven an unforgettable experience.
