The Alaska ISCO Team led by Jason Pruett invited the PE Alliance to Anchorage recently and we saw a lot of water professionals attend the HDPE Total Solutions Roadshow. Lots of great questions about how to keep #HDPE pipe safe in freezing temperatures. One of the questions covered documenting that the joints are leak free and as strong if not stronger than the pipe wall itself. Forging alliances with new people every week is central to the PE Alliance’s mission. The PE Alliance and DOW Chemical worked with the American Chemistry Council to educate staffers and members of Congress on HDPE pipe two weeks ago. Dan Landy and Peter Dyke fused pipe and talked leak-free delivery of water to scores of congressional staff in one of the Rayburn Office Building’s lobbies. As water sources and the delivery of water become more scarce, the value proposition of HDPE pipe becomes more obvious.
