Erik and Madison Swanson feel blessed. Their son Toby is a busy little boy. “He plays T-ball, soccer and hockey,” Madison says. "You’d hardly know what happened last year.” He's made a full recovery after being hit by a car in Feb 2024. Now, the Swanson family, alongside members of the Toronto Blue Jays who Erik pitches for, are paying it forward.

Since our entire team couldn't make the drive to Wesley Chapel for our new hospital groundbreaking, we hosted a watch party here in St. Petersburg complete with dirt shovel dessert, a construction photo op, and LOTS of confetti! We are so excited to be growing alongside our community: https://lnkd.in/eWkzPhKW

March is Child Life Month and we are so grateful for our incredible Child Life Specialists. They help to bring joy, comfort, and understanding to hospitalized kids and their families. Child Life Specialist Rayna Emerson said it best: “I’m kind of like a translator, so I help kids to know about and understand what’s going to happen to them and then I support them through it.” #ChildLife #ChildLifeSpecialist #ChildrensHospital #ChildrensHealth
