Airport Consultants Council (ACC)

The ACC Reauthorization Task Force met on April 4 to review the status of airport funding under the #AirportImprovementProgram (AIP) and #InfrastructureInvestmentAndJobsAct (IIJA). The group discussed anticipated changes in discretionary awards with the new Trump Administration and the status of federal workforce reductions on approval processes. ⚡ ACC will be hosting a Washington Update in the coming weeks to provide a status report for member companies. The Task Force also discussed guidance that is anticipated to be issued by the FAA implementing provisions in the 2024 FAA Reauthorization Act. They identified key sections of the bill related to airports and will be reviewing implementation guidance, which will be issued in the form of Reauthorization Programmatic Guidance Letters (R-PGLs).
