We’re proud to see Aeroseal recognized at the 2025 National Home Performance Conference for our role in advancing energy efficiency and healthier homes. With over 2,800 industry leaders in attendance, the event underscored the importance of technologies that drive measurable impact in the communities we serve. Thank you to Adam Hammond and the AES Indiana team for highlighting how Aeroseal’s solutions help remove barriers to energy savings—improving air quality, increasing comfort, and supporting better health outcomes across the board. At Aeroseal, we’re committed to transforming building performance while making homes—and neighborhoods—stronger, healthier, and more resilient. #Aeroseal #EnergyEfficiency #HealthyHomes #NHPC2025 #Weatherization #CommunityImpact
Every year a few thousand of the nation’s home performance experts convene to share information, highlight successes, and reaffirm our shared vision of creating well-performing, energy efficient and healthy homes and neighborhoods. This year’s National Home Performance Conference took place in New Orleans and was attended by over 2800 dedicated individuals who span all aspects of the industry from energy auditors, contractors and installers who are on the front lines every day working with and educating customers, to nonprofits and community-based organizations who continue to advocate for those most impacted by affordability issues, to utilities and implementation partners who design and deliver programs to help consumers lower their energy bills and build resilient, healthy neighborhoods. I was honored to be asked to join an esteemed panel of experts as we talked about the intersectionality of energy efficiency and health outcomes. I was more than excited to share how, with the help of our implementation partner CLEAResult, AES Indiana has been able to strategically leverage our Income Qualified Weatherization program to remove barriers to energy savings in customers’ homes. By focusing on removing direct and indirect barriers to weatherization that would otherwise lead to us having to walk away from completing additional energy-saving services for qualifying customers, we have been able to perform work like air and duct sealing, and attic insulation installation that has not only significantly reduced the energy burden of the customer, but has also had the secondary benefits of improving indoor air quality, increasing thermal comfort, and reducing financial stress; all of which have been proven to lead to improved health outcomes for people. Our Healthier Homes Assessment supports the core values of AES Indiana of #safetyfirst, #higheststandards, and #alltogether. By continuing to deliver all that we can for our participating customers, our team brings the highest standards to each touchpoint and strives to maximize every interaction. By helping those most in need and most energy-burdened, we do our best to ensure every qualifying customer has access to state of the art weatherization technologies like Aeroseal. Lastly, we know that healthier homes make for healthier neighborhoods; helping to reinforce the sense of community which not only improves the safety of the residents, but also the safety of our own utility personnel who work in these neighborhoods every day. Thank you so much to my fellow panelists Cole Heller, Rebeca Barrios-Hurst, and Todd Miles for the collaboration and to the Building Performance Association for the opportunity to share. #NHPC2025 #energyefficiency #healthyhomes
