A big thank you to Glaukos Corporation for supporting our 2025 AEG Summit, and to Dr. Shivani Kamat, MD, for an insightful presentation on iDose—an intracameral travoprost implant that helps lower IOP for up to three years. We had a great discussion on the evolving relationship between optometry and ophthalmology, including the importance of early referrals for surgical intervention. It was especially meaningful to have all 14 members of our Optometric Leadership and Advisory Council (OLAC) meet in person for this valuable session. Happy National Doctors’ Day! 🥼 🥳 The team at Clarksville Eye Clinic in TN went all out to celebrate the week between World Optometry Day (Mar 23) and National Doctors Day (Mar 30). From BBQ and pizza to thoughtful daily surprises based on their favorite things, the doctors were truly appreciated! Each day, they received a special treat—favorite drinks, snacks, candy, scents, and colors—along with heartfelt thank-you cards from staff.
