Kicking off this weekend at Dominion Raceway in Virginia, the series celebrates local short track racing with special events at tracks and Advance stores in 17 communities through September. The Advance Auto Parts Foundation is proud to support programs that develop skills for people who want to work in the auto aftermarket sector. Thank you, East Mecklenburg High School and Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District, for the work you’re doing to educate a workforce critical to the automotive industry. “This money will be used to purchase new equipment for our new automotive technology classes and will help many of our students learn the trade to pursue a career in Automotive Technology.” -Thomas Nguyen, Automotive Service Fundamentals teacher. “East Mecklenburg’s program fits well with our foundation’s focus on workforce readiness. We are thrilled to announce we had Advance Auto Parts India (India Innovation Center) - new, advanced, and bigger space inauguration! The event was a grand success, filled with joy and celebration. We had the pleasure of welcoming Shweta Bhatia, our esteemed CTO, who shared inspiring words and joined us in this momentous occasion. Her leadership continues to drive us forward. A big shoutout to Kunal Das and Mayank Rathi for being a part of this inauguration along with Shweta. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dubba Mahender., our Managing Director and Srinivas Nandigam, Senior Director IT Transformation and Architecture, for making this welcome ceremony possible.
