End of Day Two of NAB Show 2025.
Our “reverse heist” of stocking up our suite with supplies continues — the hotel doorman is now officially suspicious as Adapt Rat Pack rolls in with the same suitcases every morning.
AI Localization continues to trigger emotions — disbelief, skepticism, curiosity, even fear in our interactions. And with that, important questions:
• Is it perfect? No. But we’re working on it.
• Are you replacing freelancers? No — we’re working with them and believe in them.
• Can AI handle language & cutural nuances? Our human-centric model ensures it does.
• Fast + cheap = low quality? Not in our playbook.
Conversations are important to understand all of this. Whether it was at MIPCOM 2024 or NAB 2025, one thing is certain: AI Localization is no longer a debate. It’s a reality. It’s evolving fast - And it is here to stay.
When faced with transformative tech, you can take one of two paths. You can do what the Luddites once did — resist the tools, fight them, and eventually settle into compromise. The other is the Dorothy Vaughan route — refuse to be made obsolete, upskill, position yourself at the forefront of innovation and take others along with you.
For those of us in media and localization who aren’t backed by big corporate budgets, the second path isn’t just aspirational — it’s essential.
Let’s move forward, together and make sure it sounds Exceptional. Not acceptable.
Onwards to day three.
