The Ohio House has been working on the state budget and released its version on April 1. This version of the budget offers $7.5 million less annually than the current state budget, which expires on June 30, leaving Ohio's statewide hunger-relief network at $24.5 million per year. “What I appreciate most about the campaign is that it’s only successful when the entire community rallies around it. It’s our collective support that moves us toward a thriving community free of hunger,” said Foodbank Vice President, Katie Carver Reed. In honor of International Women's Day, we want to congratulate Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, CEO of Feeding America , for being named to Time's annual Women of the Year list!
