This leads to collaborative architectural and historic preservation projects that are completed on time, on budget, and with ease. Several talented designers and amazing people joined our studio in 2024. With our expanded team we have reached great project milestones which include major awards. This is the floor plan of a dazzling carousel restaurant, The View, set to open to the public next week on the 47th floor of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square. ADP Architects served as Architect of Record for the complex renovation, resulting in this highly-anticipated revolving restaurant operated by Danny Meyer and featured on New York Magazine. When designing the Marriott Marquis Times Square, architect John Portman made bold moves to feature cavernous interior spaces. ADP Architects has had the pleasure of making sure the building lives up to its original architectural spirit by managing the renovations of the hotel's unique guest rooms and amenity spaces, including the revolving 47th floor space. We are excited to see what you think. Learn more about how the revolving restaurant build-out was accomplished architecturally in the link below: https://lnkd.in/eR_G3nNf #renovation #hospitalitydesign #architecturedesign #architecturaldesign Interior photography reposted from New York Magazine.

Ever wondered what it takes to navigate the Preservation and Landmarks Design process in NYC? ADP Architects Principal Drew Hartley says it has a lot to do with telling the *story* of architecture within the context of NYC's historic urban fabric. Listen to Drew's take on everything #historicpreservation and #architecturaldesign as he sits with Sisto Martello of Design 2147, Ltd. on the podcast, "Sisto Says," released today: https://lnkd.in/eE3qR7es

Last month Acheson Doyle Partners Architects, P.C. exhibited at the Facilities and Operations Conference hosted by the New York State Association for Independent Schools (NYSAIS) in beautiful New Paltz, NY. If you’ve followed us for a while, you know that our favorite design problems are ones that allow us to integrate elements of #masterplanning, #historicpreservation, and #accessibility to create spaces for learning, connectivity and community. That’s what makes our team especially equipped to serve independent schools and campuses in New York. Do you have a design project in mind related to school facilities, campuses and other spaces for learning? Reach out to us at info@adparchitects.com. https://lnkd.in/enfqv89A

ADP was a recipient of the 2023 Exterior and Interior Renovation Award from the Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts for our work on the Church of the Epiphany. The 23,000-SF Romanesque Revival building, which played a big role in bringing together the Czech immigrant community in New York, was built by RH Robertson in 1888 and served as an early performance venue for legendary artists such as Barbra Streisand, Robin Williams and Jerry Seinfeld. ADP was involved in a 5-year-long gut renovation of the building that culminated in a new Sanctuary, day school, multi-purpose room, rooftop terrace, office space and commercial-grade kitchen equipped to support a neighborhood nonprofit food program serving over 1,000 meals daily to persons without homes and the elderly. Thank you for your recognition of this effort!
