We donated over $550K to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through our annual partnership. Since 2020, our Team Members have worked with St. Jude to create a unique line of holiday-inspired t-shirts and lounge pants that feature artwork from St. Jude patients. Through proceeds from sales, this fun collaboration with St. Jude has brought more than $2.7M in donations to the research hospital, providing patients with access to cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance and at no cost to their families. We celebrated our first grand openings of the year by giving $35,000 to over 300 kids from local Boys & Girls Clubs and scouts organizations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Missouri. 🎊 Giving back to our communities is always a touchdown: In Harrisburg, PA, Dallas Cowboys linebacker and Harrisburg native Micah Parsons took 100 local kids on a shopping spree, and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers running back Juelz Goff joined 100 kids in York, PA, to shop our 300th new store. Academy Sports + Outdoors giveback snapshot: $5,000 for 15 female student athletes in Houston, TX. ICYMI, National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) is recognized in February, and we celebrated by donating to the Wheatley High School Girls Flag Football Team. 💪 🏈 To go for extra points, Houston Texans Defensive End Will Anderson Jr. made an appearance and helped the young athletes shop our store to gear up for their upcoming season. He is a supporter of the Texans Girls Flag Football program, which launched in 2023 to create opportunities for young female athletes in Houston. Fun fact💡Flag football is played by over 20 million people across 100+ countries, making it one of the most accessible formats of football.
