It was an honor being asked to comment on our experience with Tony Gunn and MTDCNC. I highly recommend if you haven’t worked with Tony and his team before that you seriously consider talking to them about what they can do to promote your brand to a larger audience.

Our EDM department received an award for top worldwide sales of the new ACCUTEX ueX10 CNC controller. The ueX10 control was a collaborative project between Absolute and Accutex EDM. The design utilizes cloud-based technology and EtherCAT to enhance user experience. The new ueX10 CNC control from Accutex EDM features ultra-fast graphic simulation of large NC programs. The profiles that are defined by the NC program are geometrically shaped and displayed in the simulation. The Windows 10 OS and high-speed industrial PC are well equipped to process 2D or full 3D renderings, dynamic rotation and instant forward and reverse playback, and line by line simulation. This allows the operator to efficiently and thoroughly inspect program paths verifying accurate toolpaths from post processing.

In simplest terms, bar feeders are “one-axis devices” that push bar stock into a machine tool’s workzone (like a lathe, multi-spindle, rotary transfer machine, and, in some cases, a #CNC mill). But, they come in a variety of flavors, with the primary differences being bar length capacity (short loaders versus long ones) and bar storage capacity (single-barrel loaders versus magazine styles into which multiple bars can be loaded). There’s more to it than that, though. Machine shops have to answer a variety of questions to determine what bar feeder makes most sense for their production needs.
