It was a pleasure to welcome George Phirippidis back to Applied Aerospace for an engaging Supervisor Leadership workshop. The interactive sessions delved deep into behavioral insights, fostering connected learning and group problem-solving. Exciting News! Applied Aerospace has acquired NeXolve, a leader in deployable space systems and advanced polymers. With expertise in sunshields, solar sails, and polyimide materials—including work on the JWST sunshield—NeXolve strengthens our ability to deliver next-gen aerospace solutions. Their team in Huntsville, AL will become our Advanced Materials & Deployable Systems division, expanding our innovation footprint. Every day, the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Roman Space Telescope moves closer to launch, and we’re honored to have played a part in its development. This video highlights key hardware milestones, showing how each component is built, tested, and integrated to form the full observatory. Our team contributed precision-engineered structures, including the High Gain Antenna and the Wide Field Imager (WFI) Optic Bench—essential to the telescope’s groundbreaking mission. It’s incredible to see these components come together to help unlock new discoveries about our universe!
