A new NIH policy capping indirect cost reimbursement for research grants at 15% could have serious consequences for medical research funding. While a federal judge has temporarily blocked the policy, AAEM remains opposed to this change, which would significantly impact our members and their ability to conduct critical research. AAEM has joined a physician-led coalition to voice concern over the policy’s impact.
