😍 One of my favorite parts of my job is visiting districts and schools across the state — and recently, I’ve been especially energized by the growth of Career and Technical Education (CTE) spaces designed just for students to explore and thrive. Incredible schools like Granite Technical Institute, Davis Catalyst, Weber Innovations HS, Career Tech High School, Jordan Academy for Technology and Careers, the new CTE wing of Park City High School, and now the new Canyons School District CTE campus, are transforming how students engage with their futures. 🙌 I also love seeing the powerful partnerships with technical colleges like Mountainland Technical College, Davis Technical College, Ogden-Weber Technical College, Tooele Technical College, Uintah Basin Technical College - UBTech, Bridgerland Technical College, Dixie Technical College, Southwest Technical College, which help bridge the gap between high school and career — offering students real-world skills and a clearer vision of what comes next. YouScience helps Utah students discover pathways that align with their aptitudes and talents — but telling them is only half the battle. The other half happens in these hands-on, dynamic spaces where they can actually experience the work, collaborate with peers, and see if this is truly what they want to pursue. Yesterday more than 60 of us gathered at the Entrata offices in Lehi to network, share ideas, and with the common goal of helping women in Utah thrive in the workplace. We heard from A Bolder Way Forward spoke leaders in Childcare and Pre-K Programs, Entrepreneurship, Gender Pay Gap, Leadership Development, Organizational Strategies & Workplace Culture, STEM Fields, and Workforce Development about what their spokes have been working on and what their plans are for the future. We hope you left the event feeling energized and empowered to get involved and work with us to help more Utah women and girls thrive, because as Dr. Susan R.
