It’s Tax Day—everyone’s favorite day, right??? In honor of everyone’s least favorite paperwork holiday, we’re flipping the script and highlighting some good financial news. This #FinancialLiteracyMonth, we’re celebrating the organizations that are making financial education accessible, practical, and free. Golden 1 Credit Union, Opening Doors, and Los Rios Community College District are helping people across our community take control of their money—from building credit and starting a business to exploring new careers and creating smart budgets. See how these programs are turning financial stress into financial empowerment.

There’s nothing more powerful than having the right people in your corner—especially when those people are women who challenge, celebrate, and, let’s be honest, make you laugh until your cheeks hurt. We really believe in pushing each other forward—with encouragement, resilience, and a whole lot of joy. Because when women support women, there’s no limit to what we can achieve. Here’s to the powerhouse women who make 3fold the place to be. Can you guess what had us laughing the hardest this week?

Some words that stayed with us: "Diversity works in many ways." – Cassandra Jennings "Lift each other up—women are programmed to compete, but we need to be each other's village." – Erica Taylor "Yes, I am scared, but I’m going to do it anyway." – Jita Pandya Buño, MBA, FACHE Buño "No one will remember you for the hours you sat at your desk or whether you made budget. They’ll remember your kindness, your impact." – Pat Fong Kushida "Be competitive—not with other women, but with yourself." – Cynthia Moreno We talk a lot about leadership, success, and impact—but these words are the ones that truly stick. Leadership isn’t just about climbing higher; it’s about lifting as you go. Huge gratitude to Metro EDGE and the incredible women who filled the room with wisdom, vulnerability, and strength. Let’s keep learning from each other, supporting each other, and creating space for more voices to be heard. Take a moment today—send a message, make a call, or just tell a woman in your life what she means to you. Those words matter. 💜 #WomenLiftingWomen #Authenticity #Leadership #Community #MetroEDGE

"We believe marketing is a bridge between frustration and real solutions." That belief was put to the test when we worked with Nevada County Transit. Their riders—many elderly or with disabilities—couldn't understand how to use the system they depended on. When we showed Robin Van Valkenburgh, CCTM our redesigned wayfinding system, he teared up. "This is going to change people's lives," he said. That moment crystallized what meaningful marketing actually looks like—not just creative execution, but genuine human impact. In our latest blog, we share three principles that drive this approach: 1. Why empathy is everything (and how to apply it) 2. The "start with the end" method that keeps projects grounded 3. How seeing both sides creates solutions that actually work Read the full article to see why building bridges between problems and solutions matters more than just making ads. Thanks, Carolyn Hopkins-Vasquez for all the insight you bring to our team!

Headed to Advertising Day on the Hill today! Our VP of Media, Christie Pierce, MSC, is representing 3fold (and the amazing folks at AAF Sacramento and AAF Lexington!) at this national event bringing together advertising leaders, policymakers, and advocates. With so many conversations happening around privacy, tax policy, and the future of social platforms, it’s the perfect time to spotlight how powerful advertising really is—just look at this 👇 📊 $5.7+ billion in economic activity 👔 29 million jobs supported 💵 $2.7 trillion in wages Even with hiring freezes and uncertainty in a lot of industries, this just proves how much advertising fuels the economy—and why it matters now more than ever. Who else is going to be there? Let’s connect! #AdvertisingDayOnTheHill #3foldCommunications #AAF #AdIndustry #DigitalAdvertising #PublicPolicy #AAFD14 #AAFSacramento #AAFLexington

This right here! Our own Jamie Von Sossan nails why having strong women in your corner matters so much. Those real conversations, tough love moments, and genuine celebrations are what get us through the day. Grateful to have so many incredible women on the 3fold team making our work and community a little bit better each day! #GoBeGreat #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork
Women supporting women isn’t just nice—it’s necessary. There's nothing more important than the power of having the right people in your corner. The people who challenge you, celebrate you, push you forward, and catch you when you stumble. And while support can come from anywhere, there’s something uniquely powerful about women lifting up other women. Because let’s be honest—navigating leadership, career, family, and just life in general can be hard. And too often, we’ve been taught to believe that success is limited, or that competition can create distance instead of drive. But here’s the thing—I love competition. It pushes me to be better, to think bigger, and to raise the bar for myself and those around me. Where the grace comes in is how we react before and after the competition. That’s where women need women the most. We need to support, uplift, and remind each other that win or lose - we have each other's backs. Every time I’ve been lifted by another woman—through advice, encouragement, tough love, or a well-timed “you’ve got this”—it’s made me stronger. More confident. More capable. And I know I’m not alone in that. At 3fold Communications, I’ve seen firsthand how women supporting women creates stronger teams, better leadership, and, honestly, more joy in the work we do. When we show up for each other, we all rise. Carolyn Hopkins-Vasquez Sara Crackel Angela Criser Lucy Arias Isabel Matick Maria Ratinova Madison Torres Mariah Rowden

Still buzzing from the energy at #StateofDowntown! 🎉 Huge kudos to the Downtown Sacramento Partnership team for another incredible event. The momentum in our downtown core is undeniable. Thrilled to see how these developments continue shaping our city’s future. #DowntownSac #CommunityGrowth"
Congratulations to the Downtown Sacramento Partnership team for yet another exciting #StateofDowntown event. Michael Ault and the entire DSP team really know how to keep the energy alive with everything they're doing to elevate and enhance our downtown core. I mean, a house band? Yes, please! The announcement of California State University-Sacramento's discovery period to consider a state-of-the-art downtown center to bring their students, staff, and faculty closer to the Capitol was a huge announcement by J. Luke Wood, PhD. It's all happening, and it's so easy for our team at 3fold Communications to stay excited about the traction. Let's keep it going, Sacramento!

3fold’s Creative Director, Angel Membrere, learned early on that great design is about more than just aesthetics—it’s about connecting with people. When he swapped out stock photos for images of real neighborhood faces, engagement went through the roof. Why? Because people want to see themselves in the designs they connect with. Check out Angel's thoughts on designing for community connection. https://lnkd.in/d_4ypuyj #RealDesignRealPeople #CommunityDesign"
