Last week, LEMOINE Program Services proudly celebrated alongside our clients at the groundbreaking of the new Community Food Bank of Central Alabama facility in Bessemer! This much-needed expansion will double the size of the food bank’s current warehouse and dramatically increase their capacity to serve more neighbors across 12 counties in Central Alabama. Set to open in Spring 2026, the new facility will help distribute millions more meals annually through a network of over 200 community partners—including food pantries, shelters, and children’s programs. As Nicole Williams, CEO of the Community Food Bank, shared, “This new facility means that we'll be able to feed more of our neighbors who experience food insecurity, and that's our mission, that's why we are here.” We’re honored to serve as Program Manager for a project that will have such a lasting impact. Congratulations to the entire team moving this mission forward!

We’re excited to kick off our next infrastructure project: the Reserve Wastewater Treatment Pond Capacity Expansion in Reserve, LA! This project entails expanding the current Reserve Pond WWTP, incorporating a new pond, Headworks addition, pumps, piping, and electrical systems. Significant sitework for the new pond includes moving 118,000 cubic yards of excavated material onsite and importing 36,500 cubic yards of clay for levee compaction. Process equipment comprises four static screens, six dewatering press conveyors, fourteen floating aerators, three 200 HP submersible pumps, a new plant water system, chemical feed system, and weir gates. LEMOINE Infrastructure successfully completed an expansion at this site in the spring of 2018 and looks forward to strengthening our partnership with St. John the Baptist Parish. #Infrastructure #PublicWorks #1LEMOINE
