🌏 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗫 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺’𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝟰𝗚 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗶 From April 14–17, the 𝗣𝟰𝗚 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 welcomed over 𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 from 𝟰𝟲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 and international organizations, under the theme: “𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲-𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.” As a 𝗣𝟰𝗚 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, AirX Carbon had the chance to share our work on the NetZero Pallet – a carbon-negative, biodegradable logistics solution made from agriwaste – supporting supply chains to move toward circular, low-emission alternatives. The summit was officially opened by 𝗛.𝗘. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗺, 𝗛.𝗘. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗵, and 𝗛.𝗘. 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗝. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱 – 𝗨𝗡 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆-𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹, along with 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 from P4G partner countries. Their presence underscored the urgency of inclusive, cross-sector climate solutions. With its focus on practical solutions and transformative 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰-𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, this fourth P4G summit is a catalyst for both environmental and economic progress. 🤝 At AirX Carbon, we believe that innovation from the ground up – especially from emerging markets – plays a vital role in bridging global goals with local action. Designed for applications like WPC and WPI, these membranes cut cleaning time, reduce chemical and energy use, and improve overall efficiency. Recycled plastic won’t solve packaging pollution. So why are brands backtracking on sustainable materials? In my latest for Sustainable Brands, I spoke with Nuha Siddiqui, CEO and Co-Founder of erthos®, about why major CPGs are rolling back their commitments and what’s at risk if we don’t act now. "Brands expected their supply chains to solve the problem without committing the necessary time or resources. There was excitement and ambition; but goals were unrealistic, and the scale of the challenge was misunderstood. Now we’ve woken up to the fact that only 2 percent of the 2019 targets have been met,” – Nuha Siddiqui. We dig into the broken supply chain, the myth of plastic price parity, and how platforms like ZYA™ are bridging the gap between material innovators and brands ready to commit.
