For any Automation we do one of the main principles that we should follow is review mechanism. This review mechanism can be triggered periodically based on the validations and multiple checks with different sources. Auto validation on data sanity will trigger us for logging of errors during validations. The developer should always have periodical reviews on the links and the data source which will help us to have our data correct. Failover and redundant control systems are extremely important, both systems hold data files (running & backup), incase there is failure on one control system there would be a seamless failover to the redundant system usually on thesame network. error log files can also be tracked to know the cause of system failure. one last important thing, have an offline backup that is usually updated incase both your main and redundant systems should fail.
