Communities and platforms do organically create spaces for good. An amazing example is the gaming community around Gamers for Good. It is such a positive demonstration of those with influence and an audience wanting to give back and rally their followers to support charities and raise money for good causes.

Don't underestimate the power of livestreaming to make an impact. Every year myself and my partner raise money for a charity during a 24hour livestream and it always is a massive win for the charity and also our community who get to come together to make a group impact. Beyond monetary impact, its also a great way to talk about the cause, share stories and answer questions in real time, so that people continue to follow and support after the stream as ended.

Collaborate with organizations that have a proven track record. This not only boosts your credibility but also amplifies your impact. A tip here is to partner with a local charity for a specific campaign, like a clean-up drive, where you can directly engage with your community.

Common questions that arise in your day to day can reflect the same unanswered questions others are asking themselves. If someone is trying to find resources focused on Veteran grants, could you showcase some? If someone asks, “where should I go to hire my first VA?”, could you be someone to solve that problem for them through sharing content.

If you want to create engaging and authentic influencer content, clearly outline your campaign's objectives, deliverables, timetable, and expectations in a brief that can be shared with your influencers. Make sure your influencers have enough creative freedom to bring their content to life in a way that their voice still comes through.

If this is your first foray into influencer marketing, test the waters by partnering with nano or micro-influencers. They typically have lower costs associated with them but you also will likely connect with a much more engaged audience.
