Expose the minimum. Varonis has a very good security platform. But, again, nothing beats On Premises 🧐😉 My 2 cents.

The solutions they are offering must have the capability of being compliant. You must actually configure them to be compliant or compel the CSP to do so. Use a cloud VPN/aws SSM to access private admin console of your servers/services. - IAM permission: necessary calls only, use IAM auth everywhere possible between services and SSO for users => less.secrets to manage. - auto update base images (servers and containers) upon starting and when it's running (servers) - die principles - run security scan over remaining open ports and services. - don't "over share" data between services defined and versionned api on your backend. - Plan eol of your architecture and code, not when but at least how, keep doc up to date.
