Contemporary enterprises, technology solutions and telco / network providers are quickly realizing that it is not as important to just offer SD-WAN infrastructure capabilities, but offer an intelligent and secure stacks. For example, ability to deploy AI/ML on top of edge is very beneficial. Having the ability to do Visual AI, ML provides ability to solve many problems which were not solvable in the past. This is especially true when your workloads are running remotely - For example, Wind farms, Oil rigs, power lines and many more.

Do not look at Edge, SD-LAN/WAN only as infrastructure components. Approach them as vertical technology stack. It is just not useful to only offer infrastructure. It is important if you create vertical stacks which run Visual AI for manufacturing plants. Or help remotely operate and manage assets deployed in remote areas where you may have no or very limited connectivity.
