Usually, many people shy away from this but this might be the only way a company can test you since you don't have any commercial experience. Also, try to understand a lot of concepts about programming, mostly OOP, just in case you're asked during an interview. Try to work on a few real world scenarios or at least contribute to a few projects even if they're personal.
