My perspective on a best way would be to crack the root. Root? Yes, making the code modular, no matter what the size of the code is. Modularity helps in making the code understandable, manageable, readable, addressable and makes the complex issues resolvable in less time. Developers should also consider leveraging the advantage of parallel development with well defined code-structure and boundaries which would help developers independently while not compromising on the collaboration.
