How do you tell your team about data governance?

In my opinion and experience- Data governance is important for data scientists because it ensures that the data they are working with is of high quality and accurate. This is essential for data scientists to be able to produce accurate and reliable results. For example, if a data scientist is working on a project to predict customer churn, they need to make sure that the data they are using is accurate and up-to-date. If the data is not accurate, the predictions will be inaccurate and the project will be a failure.

The approach to data governance need to come from the top down. If there is no buy in and motivation from the leadership, it’s hard to maintain the same culture amongst the team members.
