Evaluate threat landscape (if any), such as data breaches, inside threat or cloud cyber attacks by identifying vulnerability in your cloud environment, such as, software weakness, configuration issues, backend open source breach or/and inadequate access controls.

On one hand, prioritizing security at the expense of user convenience can lead to decreased productivity and user satisfaction, potentially causing users to find workarounds that may introduce security vulnerabilities. On the other hand, prioritizing convenience over security can expose the organization to risks such as data breaches, unauthorized access, and compliance violations.

One thing I have found helpful is that UX considerations includes understanding user needs by usability testing e.g; evaluate how user respond to MFA prompts and password policy. Using UX feedback mechanism.

Identify data credibility by classifying data based on sensitivity and impact which might include personal identification information (PII) and that's is definitely a high risk data.

Finding the Balance 1. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Enhances security without significantly burdening users. It’s a good compromise between security and convenience. 2. Single Sign-On (SSO): Allows users to log in once and gain access to multiple applications, balancing ease of use with secure access. 3. Adaptive Authentication: Adjusts the level of security based on the context (e.g., location, device), offering a tailored balance between security and convenience.

Regular Audits and Assessments: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and user convenience to make necessary adjustments.
