A well-maintained knowledge base, along with clear guidelines and standard operating procedures, enables agents to quickly find accurate solutions without second-guessing. Automation can also help by handling repetitive tasks or providing initial responses, allowing agents to focus on more complex issues. Regular training sessions ensure that the team stays up-to-date on product knowledge and best practices, while real-time collaboration tools enable agents to quickly consult with colleagues when needed. By streamlining workflows, prioritizing tasks, and fostering a culture of accuracy under pressure, you can strike the right balance between speed and precision.

I use the Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) framework: 1. Categorize every case that comes 2. Create a list of Top Case Generators (TCGs) 3. Create solutions against your TCGs 4.a) Train the team on TCGs to reduce Turn Around Time 4.b) Create public facing Knowledge Base Articles for end user consumption. This itself reduces the influx of cases 4.c) Give feedback to Product Management to make the product more intuitive and frictionless All of these have significantly increased speed without compromising on accuracy.

Make clear steps as to what is expected when supporting a client. Perhaps, show the benefits of why acting quickly in the clients requests will positively impact your team. Example, we are working with a client in APAC who needs feedback as soon as possible, so an early email which takes 2 minutes, could move a process along quickly.

Build a culture that values asking questions and seeking clarification. By training together and working collaboratively, we can help each other .Find quick and accurate solutions, even in tough situations. As a leader, you must identify the troubleshooter in your team.
