A way that works to keep motivation going is asking: What is the price you pay now and in the future if you keep on doing what you are doing and nothing changes? How are you feeling now and how do you want to feel? Connect it with a vision of the future. I use powerful exercises to install each and every part of the process which makes transformation almost inevitable!

I think it's important to help clients recognise they have the capacity to change. Many clients have lost touch with their own innate strengths and drive for positivity because they have forgotten to give care and empathy into their relationship with themselves. Knowing ourselves and having a challenging but healthy internal dialogue allows us to (re)connect with what is holding us back from initiating, moving and growing.

Wow this is such a great question! As a Psychologist Expert in Mental Fitness, I would say: a. Openly exploring the issue without judgement b. See it from their lens c. Ask permission first before providing any education / information on the contrary d. Ask 'why would you even bother changing' - I know this may seem loaded but it really gets them alongside the deeper meaning for change. e. Fears of change, and how to overcome these (are they real / what purpose do they serve and how we can adopt something new). f. Habit 'cues' - so if it is changing a habit, how to cue it into the day as an integration
