It is also worth prioritising urgent cases/samples, delegating tasks effectively, and maintaining open communication, especially through huddles and handovers. Cross-training staff, where feasible, also offer flexibility during high-demand periods. A system should also be in place to promote breaks within workflows and support mental health check-ins to prevent burnout. Leveraging tech tools such as electronic health records and task management software, streamline processes. A well-managed workforce supports the delivery of better patient care.

Such learnings should be introduced into practice from an early medical journey. Especially the low- and middle-income countries with heavy patient loads do not have enough work force; this is what really is a tricky situation. So, students should be encouraged to assess their strengths timely while also highlighting the importance of healthy and equitable workload distribution.
