How do you become a system developer?

Na minha visão, o principal hard skill necessário para quem vai iniciar em programação é SER auto didata. Assim, você sempre estará buscando o novo e não estará preso em uma única verdade/linguagem. Conhecer várias linguagens de programação é bom, mas melhor ainda é ter uma lógica de programação apurada, porque esta irá te abrir portas das várias linguagens.

Never stop learning and focus on the things you love doing. The flame burns brighter with the correct fuel. To become proficient at somthing you must repeat repeat repeat.

Don't be worried about making mistakes. That's a part of the learning curve. If you don't know something, ask for help. If you think you know something, try it. The worst that can happen is that your mistake gets undone and loses a little bit of project time. Go for something that makes sense to you to start with, whether that's an OOP language or something a little "less structured".

Pour moi un bon début serait : - D’apprendre d’abord l’algorithmique et les bases du C et C++ ( gymnastique de l’esprit) - Après apprendre un langage structural et un langage orienté objet. Continuer sur python ou java selon le choix de la personne.

Je valide . Je dirais de partir du général vers le spécifique. Le choix de la spécialité est lié à son projet d’avenir, aux besoins du marché et de tes points forts. Une fois la spécialité identifiée la quête de connaissances et compétences est plus facile. Je conseillerais beaucoup de voir l’IA et la Cybersécurité

Ser especialista é vantajoso para quem trabalha com uma linguagem só, contudo, o esforço e a vontade de aprender ela tem que acentuar melhor. Começei minha carreira com Java e em algumas oportunidades trabalhei com PHP. Logo em seguinda tive outra oportunidade para trabalhar como frontend usando Angular e recentemente trabalho como Fullstack usando .NET Core 6, Entity Framework e Angular. Também possuo conhecimento em NodeJs. Não sou especialista mas isso esta me dando bastante visibilidade onde passo.

One thing to keep in mind while specializing is that it's advantageous to consider both depth and breadth based approaches to study. While able to deep dive into a specific system or framework is valuable, the ability to navigate a process in abstract will allow you to translate between tools more efficiently as your skills develop. Similarly, understanding the edges between disciplines and how they perceive, manage, and manipulate data will open up a larger volume of opportunities to you. This is especially true as you transition into senior positions where the ability to jump into new tools and frameworks with little to no prep becomes a more common expectation.

Once you know it is for you I recommend to sign up for a hands on degree (2 years) with .NET or Java since those are the most widely used languages in traditional big business. When you have been working a few years you can always switch job into another specialty if you want. Now the hard work starts, to become great at programming you will need to put the effort in in the start, so make sure you use your time wisely and aim to always pass the exams or higher. Make use of other students to help each other understand things.

One way to develop a portfolio is to begin making contributions to OSS projects. This will also help with networking as it demonstrates a proven ability to program collaboratively (along with everything it entails: taking criticism; recontextualizing problems; managing dependencies; etc.) Also worth considering is developing tools to solve problems you encounter in your day to day development life. If a given system, tool, or process is giving you trouble it's unlikely you're the only individual experiencing it.

I would not focus on quantity in portfolio but rather go for 1-2 projects with quality. Build an simple crud application and connect it to a database. Once this is good enough you can focus on building a simple webpage that is consuming that crud application. Make sure you use Github or equivalent for versioncontrol.

Um portifolio, seja um site ou um repositório git, faz de você uma pessoa que atua no desenvolvimento. Atualmente tenho repositório no github e gitlab. enho varios projetos que uso como base de conhecimento. Quando estou estudando algo que tem desenvolvimento eu já crio um repositório.

Le réseautage permet d’avancer plus rapidement et de faire la veille technologique. Les forums et tous les autres canaux t’aident à résoudre les problèmes rencontrés. Quelque soit ton problème quelqu’un d’autre l’a rencontré et dépasser . C’est pas à négliger. Le plus intelligent c’est pas celui qui sait tout mais celui qui sait où tout se trouve

If you are a social person then the best option for you is to connect with other developers and try and learn from them via discussions/meetups and perhaps helping out if someone needs help. If you are not that social I suggest you still try networking a bit but focus on finding mentors/good developers that are sharing insights and concepts on youtube or blogs. Keep consuming that as a base for continues learning, when you consume something really interesting you can try build something that uses that concept etc. Keep it simple is a good rule when trying new stuff.

Network é importante nos dias atuais. Aquela história do desenvolvedor introspectivo já não tem mais espaço nas grandes empresas. Principalmente em companhia onde metodologias ágeis estão presentes. Óbvio que todo dev. precisa ter seu momento de criatividade e estar reservado no seu espaço para construir, mas fazer parte deste mundo colaborativo já é realidade. Participar de fóruns, eventos e trocar experiências, são ações que auxiliam o processo de aprendizado.

Start with law (all), study work, study people (culture), develop process, catalog assets, procedure, standards and update contracts. Existing systems records studied in reference to new system and monitor the progress. Adapt, change and think of tomorrow while changing today.

Ter um rol de amigos, participar de forun, bootcamps, grupos de estudos, etc...é muito bom na hora do "aperreio". Já consegui resolver alguns problemas através de grupos. Tanto aprendi como também já contribuir de vairas formas e através disso consegui fazer muitos amigos.

Dans le développement de systèmes, soyez pragmatique et ne vous perdez pas dans les détails. Découpez votre projet en plusieurs étapes simples afin de mesurer facilement votre avancement. On développe rarement un outil pour soi alors adaptez votre application aux utilisateurs visés. Le travail itératif est une très bonne approche; il vous permet rapidement de proposer quelque chose aux utilisateurs pour valider vos choix. Et surtout, on ne teste jamais assez !!

Don't be afraid about the mistakes, always we can get experience since errors and don't make it again. It is a very powerful to get knowledge. And always always keep studying about new technologies to stay up to date.
