Some modern programming languages like Rust use different rules and functions to avoid the overhead of garbage collection and focus instead on managing the ownership and scope of variables efficiently. The reduced overhead of not having a garbage collector comes with an increased overhead for the programmer to learn how the features and tools of the language were meant to be used.

The real fun starts, when you try to access a memory cell just one position out of your allocated memory range. Sometimes it actually works, Sometimes there is something else written in it. And then you spend hours finding the error. That's why Rust was given to us. Unless you delve into the unsafe world of thee Rustonomicon, the compiler will stop you from ever causing a buffer overflow, among other things. Unfortunately the error handling and the learning curve will look like the mountain of madness.
