Clear Goals: Establishing clear project goals and objectives ensures everyone understands the desired outcome. Effective Communication: Maintain open communication channels to foster collaboration, address concerns, and provide regular updates. Defined Roles: Clarify roles and responsibilities within the team to avoid confusion and promote accountability. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, including time, budget, and manpower, to support project tasks and milestones. Creo que para definir el ALCANCE hay que tener en cuenta si el proyecto es tangible o intangible y para alcanzar el OBJETIVO se deben tener en cuenta 3 factores. Si trabajamos contra una fecha, si el avance depende de los resultados y que habilidades tienen las personas que forman el equipo. Ejemplos: Tangible contra una fecha: La ejecución de una obra. Intangible contra objetivos: Equipo de ventas comercial. Dependiendo de la capacidad de liderazgo y el tipo de personas que forman el equipo así será de laborioso el proceso para conseguir los objetivos. Si el equipo no funciona. La obra acumula retrasos y problemas, al igual que si los comerciales no llegan a sus clientes los ratios de venta caen.

Para delegar y empoderar hemos de tener un equipo equilibrado. Primero hay que valorar objetivamente a cada individuo observando sus habilidades, capacidad de trabajo, estado emocional, tolerancia al estrés, etc. Después sería bueno hacer un reparto de tareas y responsabilidades equilibrado. Tras un corto rodaje analizar donde hay que reforzar con formación, apoyo, motivación, etc. Creo que el EMPODERAMIENTO depende más de crear un ambiente de trabajo correcto fomentando la labor de equipo, transmitiendo confianza y creando un sentimiento sano de pertenencia a la empresa y al equipo que de animar y dar mimitos que acaben alimentando innecesariamente el ego de algún individuo.

A manager is not someone that sends long nonsense emails when they should be there to help, to step in and understand your teams challenges. I refuse to let a title make me bark orders at my team. I always let my team know to text or call if it’s urgent. Same with my old managers. I’m not here to have a comfort chair and be comfortable. I will work with my team just as I’m in their position. I always ask my mentees/team - "what did you learn from this experience? about yourself? about the process?" and so on. We learn what we we should continue doing (preserve) and we also learn what we should change. Doing a "lessons learned" process is very important. More important is to define an action plan as an outcome of that process. For example, what skills should we improve? Once identified, build a plan and execute it in order to improve those skills. Follow up on the plan, define milestones and KPIs. We don't want to repeat the same mistakes, so what should we change? again, build a plan to change and execute it.

A project retrospective is a crucial step in project management. At the end of the project/phase, you should work on 3 questions along with your team. 1. What went well? 2. What went Bad? 3. What else we can improve? This will help the team together decide on things that are working well and we should continue doing that. Areas where improvement is required, What steps we could take for it. This process helps to increase the team's performance and keep stakeholders happy.

Provide project documentation to stakeholders. Provide support to stakeholders as required. Depending upon the project context, there could be different challenges faced by the client's team members. The project team's support will help to resolve their challenges (if any) quickly and help them to leverage the outcome of the project.

Understanding the people in your team, allows you to best manage your resources, but also get the right culture and highest levels of performance.
