I have mostly used Visual Studio throughout my development career and it is one of the most used ones because it simplifies a lot of the processes.

Concernant le Php, je considère que PhpStorm reste le meilleur IDE, notamment avec toutes les extensions disponibles en fonction du framework utilisé. VSCode sera pas mal non plus, et surtout gratuit, mais avec moins de fonctionnalités. Eclipse est d'une lenteur affligeante, certainement très bien pour le Java, mais pas pour le PHP.

When dealing with OOP in modern languages you will always find ORMs being used in a lot of frameworks. So probably you won’t realize you are applying OOP because its usage is not common in other layers than model. Because modeling or using objects not always implies you are constructing object oriented code.

One thing to add over here is for Java language wr have Spring and Springboot framework built upon inversion of control principal which ingest objects as beans which take out boilerplate code of object creation and make the objects loosely coupled and easily testable.
