Multisim and Proteus are both the best circuit simulation tools I have been fortunate to use during my years in school. They both offer the required results and are both easy to use. But I prefer multisim to Proteus.

Really put the time and energy into mastering SKM. That's my next goal, is to put my back into that and not just use for mere utility required Shor Circuit Analysis, ARC Flash protection and Protective device coordination. Use those PE continuation credit requirements to your advantage. While their are great simulation products out there, an SKM ninja can simulate with the best of them and also provide you the necessary tools to meet code and local utility municipality requirements. Aslo, the printouts for PDCS from SKM still are not all that user friendly. Kinda a form of job security for those who have learned how to read them. (half joke, half dead serious)

Before you using a Simulink my recommendation is to make an input for example a generator and to connect a generator to oscilloscope.
