One thing I have found helpful is Identifying the problem. Once you are able to Identify the problem you are one step closer to being able to solve the problem. SMART GOALS and SWOT ANALYSIS are heaven sent tools .

One thing I have found helpful is being able to carry your team members along in decision making. Once every member of the team feels a sense of belonging and is comfortable able to express their opinions and suggestions. Meeting Milestones become easier and achievable.

KPI is indeed a great tool to evaluate your team members. It is a tool I have used painstakingly over the years and it has not only proved itself effective but also productive. I remember when we gave targets to every member of the team and they were asked to submit weekly KPI's so we could ensure compliance. We were able to measure the effectiveness of the decisions taken and also suggest alternatives to push the company to greater profitability.
