It's an interesting article, but what on earth is an AI-based UI? This needs to be defined. I am guessing an AI-based UI is one in which the interface logic is controlled by an artificial intelligence system, as opposed to more traditional (deterministic) approaches. In this sense, perhaps chatbots are an example of that - for instance, plugins in ChatGPT that don't have a "fixed" user interface and instead are just "infusing" the conversation with their outputs and performing actions based on the unstructured text in the chat. We need to understand the concept a bit more before giving advice on how to handle it.
