How can you overcome common UX design challenges for enterprise applications?

Recently I am working on Big Tax Tech product. In this products lots of modules. Each module have different requirement. I am following one way to solve the problem Taking help from support team to list out power user and conduct quantitative analysis and personal interview for understanding needs and pain points. It will help to create workflow and creating user journey. Amplitude is one of the good tool to get data about user's journey. How user navigate in product. Best way is reduse the navigation path of maximum use of features or modules, It will save user's maximum time.

Here's some advice: To make enterprise applications better, focus on the users and their needs. Understand how people in big companies work, so you can design the application to help them work more easily. Make sure everything looks and works the same way in the application. This helps users predict what will happen, making it less confusing. Stay updated on new technologies and design trends. This helps keep the application modern and useful for the changing needs of the company. In short, making enterprise applications better involves understanding user needs, keeping things consistent, considering accessibility, talking to users, organizing information well, and staying updated with new trends and technologies. Less is more. User takes time to make a decision with a number and complexity of choice. To save time and perfect choice reduse compaxity and make it simpler. To reduse compaxity break task into small steps to reduse cognitive load. Use design system for typography , Visual design element, icons, colors, make sure all elements consists in entire application. For better UX all similar information in common region.

Moins n'est pas plus. La complexité est souvent inhérente aux applications métier et on ne peut pas s'en départir. Toutefois, beaucoup d'applications métier ont tendance à tout rendre accessible à tout le monde et au premier plan. Un premier moyen de simplifier une app métier est de travailler sur les rôles utilisateurs, de créer des catégories de droits, et de faire disparaître les features inutiles pour chaque rôle (plutôt que juste les désactiver...). La seconde est de stratifier l'UI en ne mettant à disposition que les interactions principales, cardinales ou nodales, et de reléguer les interactions secondaires dans des menus ou interfaces... secondaires. Ça paraît bête, mais c'est pourtant rarement fait.

I get where you're coming from with simplifying enterprise apps, but it's not a one-size-fits-all deal. Like, imagine a pilot's control panel trimmed down to just a few buttons. Sounds cool, but it could actually make flying the plane tougher, not easier. For B2C apps, sure, users love simplicity. They want to click and go. But for enterprise users, it's a different ball game. They're pros who often need those extra knobs and dials to do their jobs right. So, I'd say simplification is cool, but not always the way to go. If the system's complex but works fine for those who use it daily, why dumb it down? Sometimes, keeping things as is can be the smarter move.

Attention à la résistance au changement : il faut aller au-delà de collaborer, et co-créer. Les applications métier sont utilisées tous les jours en permanence par les équipes. Comme elles sont presque systématiquement complexes, elles prennent du temps à être (ap)prises en main, routinisées et maîtrisées. Parfois les directions changent d'outil en pensant bien faire mais se heurtent à des plaintes. Ingrats ! Non, les équipes se retrouvent avec un nouvel outil complexe à prendre en main en plus de gérer leurs galères quotidiennes. Impliquer les équipes opérationnelles dans le cœur de la conception de l'app (ou même simplement dans son test et son choix s'il s'agit d'un bench de services tiers) fera que la nouvelle app deviendra LEUR app.
