I’ve mentored in hackathons and three things stand out for me: - understand why a project won. There is usually a very deep thought behind scalability and most that defines winner. Don’t ignore the winners. Understand the words they used, the way they positioned everything. - most hackathons are buzzing with mentors and investors. Talk to them. Understand their unique PoV. - Get hands-on experience. Easy to go through theory but you’re only as good as you have tried.
