During the Brexit transition, we had a UK based supplier that did not know what would happen with deliveries immediately post-Brexit and a huge customer of ours was threatening us to de-list our products if we could not fulfill its (HUGE) order. Take a blank paper 2. Write the problem statement at the centre of the paper and circle it 3. Now set a timer for 5-10 mins. 4. Start mapping out all possible solutions as rays coming out from the central topic. 5. Continue writing down all solutions that come to your mind without judging or labelling any of them. The entire exercise is designed to help our brain think divergently. The same process can be done with teams too... Once the time is over, we need to take a break, and then reflect upon those solutions.
