To ensure a positive learning atmosphere for your class, you need to first set clear and strict rules in your class. This is so that your students would know that they would be punished if they were to go against it. You need to pull the defiant or difficult student aside. This is to avoid them from interfering and disturbing the other students in class. You need to then ask this difficult student why they are behaving this way. This is to help you understand why they are doing so and to help resolve whatever issues they are facing in order to avoid them from behaving this way again.

The classroom is a training ground for students to discover, embrace, and train for their respective purposes. Strengths will arise, and so will weaknesses. However, by creating an environment where ALL are valued, and innovation is the focus, removing failure creates a new, engaging environment where learning outcomes lead to individual transformation. Such an approach sets the tone and a culture for more engaging and respectful learning environments.
