Rules
- A team can consist of 1-4 members, one of whom will be the team leader
- The team needs to choose one theme out of four given themes.
- All members of the team have to register with their WhatsApp number
- Cross-year and cross-specialization teams are allowed
- One student cannot be a part of more than one team.
Guidelines
- Ideas submitted in the Google Doc link should be accessible during phase 1: Idea Submission.
- All project submissions must leverage Vultr’s cloud services.
- Source code must be submitted through a public Git repository.
- All submissions must be original and created during the hackathon period.
- Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
- For the Grand Finale, shortlisted teams will present their projects online.
- Decisions by the organizing team and judges are final and binding.
Judging Criteria
Round 1 - Idea Submission (Elimination)
- Feasibility: Assess the practicality of the project. Can the project be realistically implemented using Vultr’s services? [Evaluation Points: 20]
- Creativity: Evaluate the originality and innovativeness of the idea. [Evaluation Points: 20]
- Technical Complexity: Measure the technical depth and complexity of the project. [Evaluation Points: 20]
- Alignment with Vultr’s Capabilities: Determine how well the project leverages Vultr’s cloud services. [Evaluation Points: 20]
- Impact: Assess the potential impact or usefulness of the project in real-world scenarios. [Evaluation Points: 20]

Submission Requirements: Round 1 - Idea Submission
- Project Title: A clear and concise title for the project.
- Team Members: List of team members with their respective roles.
- Abstract: A brief summary of the project idea (150-200 words).
- Problem Statement (Out of 4 themes): Define the problem the project aims to solve.
- Proposed Solution: Describe the solution, including key features and functionalities.
- Use of Vultr Services: Explanation of how Vultr’s cloud services will be used in the project.
- Target Audience: Identify the intended users or beneficiaries of the project.
- Feasibility Analysis: A brief analysis of the project's feasibility, considering technical and resource constraints.
- Preliminary Diagram: UML Diagram or a Figma Design illustrating the proposed plan.
- Expected Outcomes: What the team aims to achieve with this project.
- Format: PDF, Maximum 3 pages
Round 2 - Project Building (Elimination)
- Implementation and Functionality: Evaluate how well the project has been implemented and whether it functions as intended. [Evaluation Points: 20]
- Technical Complexity: Measure the technical depth and complexity of the project. [Evaluation Points: 20]
- Use of Vultr’s Services (Mandatory): Assess how effectively Vultr’s cloud services are utilized in the project. [Evaluation Points: 40]
- Scalability and Performance: Evaluate the scalability and performance of the project. [Evaluation Points: 10]
- Documentation and Presentation: Assess the quality of technical documentation and the clarity of the project presentation. [Evaluation Points: 10]

1. Detailed Project Plan: A comprehensive plan outlining the project’s goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
