The Jackman Humanities Institute (JHI) at the University of Toronto recently announced that Faculty of Law, Common Law Professor Tracey Lindberg will be its 2017-2018 Distinguished Visiting Indigenous Faculty Fellow from February through June 2018.

The Faculty of Law, Common Law Section is pleased to announce that Katie Black (J.D. 2009), Peter Chiarelli (LL.B. 1991), Pierre de Neuville Richard (LL.B. 1970) and Kathleen Keller-Hobson (LL.B. 1979) will be inducted into the Common Law Honour Society for 2017.

Nathalie Des Rosiers, former Dean of the Common Law and Civil Law Sections at the University of Ottawa, was elevated to Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne’s executive council on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 as part of the premier’s cabinet shuffle.
