Our 15-minute presentations are designed to inform students of the various SASS units, of the services available at the AWHC, of the various handouts available online, and of the University of Ottawa's Regulation on academic fraud.

To book a presentation of our services for your students, contact our team at least one week in advance so that we can establish the place, date, and time of the presentation. To encourage your students to make an appointment with our writing advisors, you can insert a brief description of our services in your course outline.

Workshops

Our customized workshops are designed to help students meet the requirements of academic writing for a specific assignment. They can address one or more of the following topics: plagiarism and referencing, the writing process, and the structure of a paper.

To book a writing workshop for your students, contact our team at least two weeks in advance so that we can establish the content of the workshop. Send us the course outline and assignment instructions along with your request, and be present during the presentation or workshop to answer questions.
